GlossyBox | April 2014

It's Glossybox time again! I always get so excited to see what has been included in the boxes each month. This months box is pretty good i think. The stand out product for me is the He-Shi Face & Body tanning gel. I'm deffinitly looking foward to trying this out. I'm a fake tan addict so getting a tan in my Glossybox is perfect.
'Instant, hydrating golden self tan with quick drying and non sticky formula'
Next is the TRESemme instant refresh cleansing dry shampoo. Dry shampoo has to be everyone's best friend especially on them days when you are in a big rush. I love dry shampoo  to give my hair volume as its so flat ugh!
Emite make up- Lip brush- L312. I don't really just lip brushes but its always nice to have. It will be good to used if I want a red lip!
'Perfect for precise & professional looking make up application'
MeMeMe Cosmetics - Beat the blues - Pearl pink. This is a lovely colour highlight. It looks a good dupe for benefit high bean although i haven't had a good play with it yet to see how good it is. When i try it on my hand it seems to disappear.
Lastly Monu spa - warming ginger massage & body oil. I wouldn't normally go for ginger but it does smell quiet nice and fresh. I'm going to give this a try tonight.
'Add a small amount to a warm bath to leave your skin beautifully nourished'

Overall im really happy with this box. I can't wait to try the shampoo and the Monu oil. All the boxes i've seen so far have contained the same items so im intrigued to see what others got in there box.

The Lights Leeds | Cocktails & Dining

I have been waiting to get this post up for a while so i could tell you about the amazing night we had in Leeds with fellow bloggers. A few weeks ago i went to The lights in Leeds with my sister to a night of cocktails & dining. The night was hosted by the lovely girls from Carousel_PR who had arranged for us to have each course at a different restaurants.
First stop was Tiger Tiger for some amazing cocktails, i had a run runner...could possible be the nicest drink! The fruitier the better! Then it was on to Frankie & Benny's for a starter. We had some lovely garlic bread with spicy meatballs with a tomato sauce, its not something i would have thought to order but it was really nice and I'm so glad we got the chance to try different things. I had another, really nice cocktail although i can't remember the name of it.

For main we headed to Nando's...who doesn't love Nando's! They were expecting us and had a buffet of  all their different dishes on the tables waiting for us. It was really nice that it was set out like that so we could try the different dishes. I love the peri peri chips! I have some chicken...obviously & rice.

For desert we went to Browns, I had never been here before.. it was amazing! We were all so excited about the desert they brought out for us as it looked so so good! We had three different brownies each topped with a different ice cream. The chocolate and pistachio was my favourite.

I absolutely love the night and the that we got to move about the different restaurants. Id like to say a huge thank you to Carousel_PR and The Light for inviting me to such a fun event.

Pretty in pink

I have been having some trouble with my laptop recently so it has been really hard to try and get the posts that I want to do up.For some reason my 'a' key will not work which makes it pretty difficult to write posts up. Jason is on his 18 days off from today so he's going to sort it for me wohooo. Marathon blogging session for me! I have so many fun things to share! I went for an amazing meal in Leeds, found a great face tanner, my favourite candles & some really amazing happening with my store (The Bow Boutique).

Today however, how cute does Emme look all ready for the warm weather?! I heard we are ah in a 6 week heat wave from next week?! Anyone know if that's true? I love Emme's little jelly shoes I think they are so cute, this was the first time she has worn them so she was amazed by them and they were only £4!! Her feet seem to be growing like crazy recently, I though these would last for the summer but I think she might need the sizes up by the time summer actually comes.

I'm not sure how this post will look once it's up as I've never used the app to do it before, hopefully it looks ok so I can use it more when I want to share some pictures.

Vintage style

So happy we have another beautiful day to go for a walk.
I love this little vintage style cape, it goes it so many outfits and goes perfectly with this little dress with the scalloped edges. I bought this dress while i was pregnant and fell in love with it but i wanted to get it in a big size because i thought it would so cute when she could walk around in it. Its a size 9-12 month and it seemed like she would never it into it as it looked huge. I wish i had got another in the next size up so she could wear it through the summer.
